Nori Company, founded in 1989 by Sang-Min Yook, the Artistic Director of the company, brings the tradition of ancient Korea remarkably to life.
Nori Company is a dance and percussion ensemble that aims at enhancing the festive traditions of Korea. By developing a choreographed refined art form of Samul-Nori (ensemble of four), which is a modern chamber adaptation from Poongmul-Nori, the Nori Company intends to preserve the dance and music traditions while making them accessible and enjoyable to all.
The Nori ensemble is comprised of talented artists from diverse cultural backgrounds. Offering more than just music, the performance filled with heart-throbbing sound and lively movements carries the audiences away into the world of NORI.
